History of Carson Stahl Memorial Aerodrome

The Southern Kentucky Model Aero Club has worked hard since the charter in 1973 to develop one of the best flying sites in the United States of America.  In 1991, SKYMAC dedicated the flying site to lost member Carson L. Stahl, hence the name “Stahl Memorial Aerodrome.”

Currently SKYMAC has a member base of approximately 90 members from Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana.
